The Big Test Result
Today I got a letter, addressed to Dr. Saile (spiffy), telling me that I passed the Big Test that I took back in November-yay!! It's a great feeling!
I'm on surgery rotation at school now which is great. I am loving it! We've gotten some pretty cool surgeries this past week. One of my patients was a 1 kg. 2 month old puppy who had a congenital heart defect that we had to fix. That was really cool to watch that, and the puppy did extremely well, which is great.
Colbert and I have been studying about surgery of the small intestine this evening, in preparation for soft tissue surgery rounds tomorrow morning. She seems quite interested in the topic, maybe she should take my place in rounds :)

Dr. Katrin keeps downplaying it, but she didn't just pass the exam - she got a really good score on it. She's so smart.
