Working from home has its advantages. I get to take off for a bike ride pretty much whenever I want, and I can listen to music all day, and stream the Tour de France commentary while checking the live updates at cycling news. The guys at cycling news are a riot - they're always making comments about livestock and weird stuff the spectators do. Maybe they'll do an audio feed one of these days.

There's also the temptation to surf the web.

So I came across this cool video, made from the 2001 tour, and set to a Fatboy Slim song. I was actually looking up how to do something with javascript when I found it on some programmer's blog. Really. It was an amazing coincidence.

I peg my heart rate trying to hammer up the little hills here in Alabama. Lance just gets out of the saddle and... goes. For like 40 minutes. I love the bit on the training ride. "There's 3 meters of snow, you can't ride." Whatever.
