Accent
I took the accent quiz the Cat mentioned a few days ago - Philidelphia? I've never been there, but I don't sound anything like the TV Philly types. People from New Orleans don't sound like their depiction on TV either, or much like other Southerners. We need our own category too!

My dad came up Philadelphia, too. It must be the closest to New Orleans of the accents they anticipate in the quiz.
But yes, NOLA needs its own accent. Actually, it needs 2 or 3 of them.
