The waiting game....
Tomorrow is the big day...match day. That's when I (along with all the other folks who applied for internships and residencies) find out where Jim and I will live for the next 3 years. It's a little scary...for the past several months I've told myself and everyone else that I won't know until March anyway, so I have plently of time...except that it's March now, and it's March 5th tomorrow-yikes! I'll post as soon as I know something!
No much else going on here. We celebrated our anniversary by going hiking at Pine Mountain (a big state park in Georgia) with Gromit. We had a fabulous time. Other than that, I've been busy on soft tissue surgery, but it's been fun. One of the students on my rotation really liked taking pictures of me doing daily bandage changes and such things...here are a few.
Here's one of me putting a proptosed eye (eye that popped out of the dog's eye socket) back in one emergency...

Ooooh, it's so exciting! This time tomorrow you'll be imagining the shoes you'll have to buy for wherever you're going to live! Or, at least that's what I'd be doing if I were you.
