Genoa

Cat was wondering about our silence on the issue of visiting Genoa...

Katrin's excuse is that she didn't make it that far into the Genoa post, as she was busy reading about colorectal pullthrough procedures. I'm not sure exactly what that is either, and I don't plan on looking it up.

Now that she's read the rest of the post, the answer is "big fat no." We can do it in 2010, when Katrin has vacation time. :-|

I don't know if it will be that awful, but vacations are going to be sparse from here on out. It might just be Christmas, and this year we're hoping my parents will get the family together in N.O. I should tell them about that at some point...

Oh, and my excuse for not replying is that I'm lazy. Wait, is that an excuse? I'm using it. You know I'm not away from a computer for more than a couple of hours. Genoa would be really cool - we liked Italy a lot. And France. Well, pretty much everywhere. Maybe it's the company more than the locations :-)

Oh, and colorectal pullthrough procedures-- didn't Richard Gere have one of those back in the 80's? Or was that an urban legend?

I'm sure that was an urban legend - but I guess you should ask a Veterinarian...

So about that colorectal pullthrough--I'm not sure about Richard Gere, and I'm not sure I ever want to know...this is why I chose to practice on animals :)
