The weather has been nice lately and I've been bringing my computer out on the porch to work. There's not a lot to see out there, but occasionally something interesting passes by:

The first is an Eastern Garter, and the second is a Black Racer. I had to look them up so I could assure Katrin that they aren't poisonous. She refers to the flood lights in front of the house as the "snake lights."
